Located on the south-east corner of Booderee National Park this walk takes you to three beaches each with a distinctly different aspect and feel. Along the circuit you pass through scenic bushland, several great vantage points and Blacks Waterhole. Encounters with red bellied black snakes are common in the warmer months.

We drove to the Steamers Beach carpark on a warm and sunny morning.
Steamers Beach was fairly wild so no swimming was attempted. The climb out of Steamers had us recognising how it got it’s name. Now we were keen to get to a spot where we could swim and cool off.
From here along St Georges Head track we were afforded us views of the rocky sandstone cliffs and outcrops long the coast. We decided not to go to St Georges Head today as it was warm and we were concerned about running out of water. Instead we headed down to Kittys Beach. Here we had the beach to ourselves for a very enjoyable swim. This is one advantage of the area only being accessible by foot or boat.
Feeling much cooler now we enjoyed the lovely views heading out from Kittys Beach towards Blacks Harbour Foot Track. We had hoped for another swim at Whiting Beach but the water quality was poor after recent heavy rain, so we gave it a miss.
It was then just a few kilometres back to the car park via Blacks Waterhole.
This is a favourite of ours and a great half day walk.
