Road Closures and Warnings: Limestone Road
The Drive In: A one-hour drive from Omeo along a sealed highway, and then 30km along the good gravel “Limestone Road”.

Turn left into Cowombat Flat Track and drive onward for 1km, till a steeper downhill with a couple of water bars that were not 2wd friendly. Park car here.

The Walk to the Food Drop Location: At the second water bar down the steep hill turn right off the track and contour around the slope for 25m.
The AAWT campsite is only 100m away at the bottom of the hill.
The Food Drop: The tubs are hidden behind a shrub along with 7L water. The track is still visible when standing up, in this next photo:

The Closest Water and Camping: There is a camping flat 100m downhill along the track from the food drop. Unsure about permanent water, however, as it was raining today, so there was water in the watercourse next to the AAWT.
