Road Closures and Warnings: Subject to winter snowfalls and potentially black ice.
The Drive In: Drive about one hour from Cooma west along the Snowy Mountains Highway (bitumen). Park opposite the Kiandra Courthouse.

The Walk to the Food Drop Location: Walk 100m west of the courthouse (across the road and away from the courthouse). The tubs were placed under the only large fallen tree.
The AAWT goes past the Courthouse.
The Food Drop:
The Closest Water and Camping: By vehicle, the closest water and camping would be at Three Mile Dam. Drive west along the Snowy Mountains Highway and turn left onto Link Road to Selwyn Ski Resort before continuing about 1km past Kings Cross Road to Three Mile Dam camping area. A National Parks booking is required.
By foot, along the AAWT, camping within 2km of the Snowy Mountains Highway is prohibited.
